And we missed it! Vegetarianism is a great way to save money. For us omnivores, money spent on meat is a large portion of our grocery budget. If you've never gone vegetarian for a week, give it a try! You will save a bunch of money if you do.

ReplyDeleteHaha, I don't exactly disagree with you, but we have vegetarian meals slip by me all the time without my noticing. Homemade mac & cheese, baked ziti, spaghetti, etc. Mostly pasta things. The other day I had a cheese and lettuce sandwich for lunch because we were out of deli meat, and it wasn't so bad at all!
